We've been blessed! I'm no farmer, but with some insight from above we managed to plan and plant in a way that actually works out here! We were so overrun with weeds that we decided to choke them out with a fairly heavy planting of barley along with some peas for good measure. Can't say we've seen much from the peas, but we're excited to get the cattle so that we can manage the barley! We've had excellent growing conditions for it: plenty of moisture, some supplementary help from mechanical rain, and recently we've had lots of sunshine. It's all added up to some terrific growth in the last couple of weeks.

The pic on the left is taken right at the center tower for the pivot to give some perspective while the other it taken in the middle of the field. Right about 20"!
